
Both of these actions will cancel the cruise control operation. If you want to resume the cruise control operation, repeat the steps provided in “To set cruise control speed” on the previous page.
If any method other than the CRUISE ON-OFF switch was used to cancel cruising speed and the system is still activated, the most recent set speed will automatically resume when you move the lever up.
➀ Cruise indicator ➁ Set speed ➂ Vehicle-to-vehicle distance The smart cruise control system allows you to program the vehicle to maintain a constant speed and predetermined distance to the vehicle ahead without depressing the accelerator or brake pedal.
Your vehicle has a maintenance-free, calcium-based battery. If the battery becomes discharged in a short time (because, for example, the headlamps or interior lamps were left on while the vehicle was not in use), recharge it by slow charging (trickle) for 10 hours.
1. Turn the ignition switch and all other switches off. 2. Remove the fuse panel cover by pressing the tab and pulling the cover up. 3. Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown. To remove or insert the fuse, use the fuse puller in the engine compartment fuse panel.
