Repair procedures

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective
tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent
damage.

• |
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
|

[Tailgate lower trim]
1. |
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate handle cover (A).

After loosening the mounting screws and fastners, remove the tailgate
lower trim (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.
Replace any damaged clips.

[Tailgate upper trim]
1. |
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate upper trim (A).

2. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Replace any damaged clips.

[Tailgate side trim]
1. |
Remove the tailgate upper& lower trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Trim")

2. |
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the tailgate side trim (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.
Replace any damaged clips (or retainers or fasteners)
