Repair procedures
Removal

SCC & FCA Unit (Australia only)

1.

Remove the main crash pad assembly.

(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior - "Main Crash Pad Assembly")

2.

Disconnect the SCC & FCA unit connector.

3.

Remove the SCC & FCA unit (A).

Tightening torque:

9.8 - 10.8 N·m (1.0 - 1.1 kgf·m, 7.2 - 8.0 lb·ft)

Installation

SCC & FCA Unit (Australia only)

1.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

2.

Align the variant coding procedure.

(Refer to Adjustment - "Variant Coding")

Adjustment

As the advanced smart cruise control ECU is integrated with the AEB unit, perform "AEB variant coding procedure" when replacing the advanced smart cruise control ECU.

(Refer to Smart Cruise Control Unit - "Adjustment".)
