Repair procedures

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. |
| 2. |
Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. G 2.0 MPI (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner") |
| 3. |
Remove the battery and battery tray. G 2.0 MPI (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery") |
| 4. |
Remove the engine control module (ECM). G 2.0 MPI (Refer to Engine Control / Fuel System - "Engine Control Module (ECM)") |
| 5. |
Remove the regulator (B) after removing the snap pins (A).

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. |

Remove the fuel filter. [In case of diesel vehicle] (Refer to Engine Control / Fuel System - "Fuel Filter") |

Separate the clutch tube (A). |
| 7. |
Remove the regulator (B) from the master cylinder after removing the snap pin (C).

| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| 2. |
After installing, fill reservoir with brake fluid and perform bleeding air procedure on clutch release cylinder. (Refer to Clutch Release Cylinder - "Adjustment") [Gasoline 2.0] (Refer to Concentric Slave Cylinder Assembly - "Adjustment") [Diesel 1.6 / Gasoline 1.6 T-GDI] |
