Disconnect the push rod (A) from the clutch pedal.

Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. G 1.6 MPI (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner") |

Remove the battery and battery tray. G 1.6 MPI (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery") |

Remove the engine control module (ECM). G 1.6 MPI (Refer to Engine Control / Fuel System - "Engine Control Module (ECM)") |
| 5. |
Remove the snap pin (A) and then removing the clutch tube (B). |
| 6. |
Disconnect the reservoir hose (C).

| 7. |
Remove the master cylinder (A) by turning it clockwise.

Disconnect the push rod (A) from the clutch pedal.

Remove the fuel filter. [In case of diesel vehicle] (Refer to Engine Control / Fuel System - "Fuel Filter") |

Remove the snap pin (A) and then removing the clutch regulator (B). |

Disconnect the reservoir hose (C).

Remove the master cylinder (A) by turning it clockwise.

Install in the reverse order of removal. |

After installing, fill reservoir with brake fluid and perform bleeding air procedure on clutch release cylinder. (Refer to Concentric Slave Cylinder Assembly - "Adjustment") [Gasoline 1.6 / Diesel 1.6 / Gasoline 1.6 T-GDI] (Refer to Clutch Release Cylinder - "Adjustment") [Gasoline 2.0] |
