
The MAX A/C mode is used to cool the inside of the vehicle faster.
Air flow is directed toward the upper body and face.
In this mode, the air conditioning and the recirculated air position will be selected automatically.

Instrument panel vents
- Type A
The outlet vents can be opened or closed separately using the thumbwheel. To close the vent, rotate it downward to the maximum position. Also, you can adjust the direction of air delivery from these vents using the vent control lever as shown.
- Type B
The outlet vents can be opened or closed separately turning the knob right or left. Also, you can adjust the direction of air delivery from these vents by moving the knob in any direction.
The mode selection knob controls the direction of the air flow through the ventilation system. Air can be directed to the floor, dashboard outlets, or windshield.
Temperature control The temperature control knob allows you to control the temperature of the air flowing from the ventilation system. To change the air temperature in the passenger compartment, turn the knob to the right for warm and hot air, or to the left for cooler air.
Turn the ignition switch to ACC so the steering wheel isn’t locked. Place the transmission shift lever in N (Neutral). Release the parking bake. Press the brake pedal with more force than normal since you will have reduced brake performance.
Follow the Normal Maintenance Schedule if the vehicle is usually operated where none of the following conditions apply. If any of the following conditions apply, follow the Maintenance Under Severe Usage Conditions. Repeatedly driving short distances of less than 8 km (5 miles) in normal temperature or less than 16 km (10 m
