
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lamp assembly from interior.
2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
3. Install a new bulb in the socket.
4. Install the lamp assembly to interior.
CAUTION
Be careful not to dirty or damage the lens, lens tab, and plastic housings.
Room lamp (LED type) bulb replacement If the room lamp (LED) (1) does not operate, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer. The LED lamp cannot be replaced as a single component because it is an integrated unit.
1. Open the trunk lid. 2. Remove the lamp assembly by using a flat-blade screwdriver. 3. Remove the cover from the lamp assembly. 4. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
1. Detach the speed restriction label (1) from the sealant bottle (2), and place it in a highly visible place inside the vehicle such as on the steering wheel to remind the driver not to drive too fast. 2. Filling the sealant: Strictly follow the specified sequence, otherwise the sealant may escape under high pressure.
Bulb replacement precaution Please keep extra bulbs on hand with appropriate wattage ratings in case of emergencies. Refer to the "Bulb Wattage" section in Chapter 8. When changing lamps, first turn off the engine at a safe place, firmly apply the parking brake and detach the battery’s negative (-) terminal.
