
Your vehicle is equipped with an occupant detection system in the front passenger's seat.
The occupant detection system is designed to detect the presence of a properly-seated front passenger and determine if the passenger's front air bag should be enabled (may inflate) or not. Only the front passenger front air bag is controlled by the Occupant Detection System.
Do not put anything in front of the
passenger air bag
indicator.
The SRS consists of the following components: 1. Driver's front air bag module 2. Passenger's front air bag module 3. Side air bag modules 4.
A detection device located within the front passenger seat cushion. An electronic system which determines whether the passenger air bag systems should be activated or deactivated.
If the tire is worn evenly, a tread wear Indicator (A) will appear as a solid band across the tread. This shows there is less than 1.6 mm (1/16 inch) of tread left on the tire. Replace the tire when this happens. Do not wait for the band to appear across the entire tread before replacing the tire.
1. Open the trunk lid. 2. Open the service cover. 3. Remove the nuts from the vehicle. 4. Remove the rear combination lamp assembly from the body of the vehicle. 5. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.
