1. Control shaft complete
Repair procedures

Shift the gear to "neutral".

Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
|
| 4. |
Remove the control cable from the control shaft after removing the pins
(A).

| 5. |
Remove the shaft cable (B) and select cable (C).

| 6. |
Remove the control shaft complete (A) after removing the bolts.
|
Tightening torque:
19.6 - 26.5 N·m (2.0 - 2.7 kgf·m,14.5 - 19.5 lb·ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, set control shaft lever to neutral position
(A).

Apply the sealant to the contact surface of transaxle and control
shaft.

Specified sealant : Anaerobic adhesive for flange
