Repair procedures
| Removal and Installation |
| 1. |
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the fuel tank air filter. (Refer to Evaporative Emission Control System - "Fuel Tank Air Filter") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the vapor hoses quick-connector (A).
|
| 4. |
Remove the protector installation bolt & nuts (A) and then remove the canister (B).
|
| 5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| Inspection |
| 1. |
Check for the following items visually.
A: Canister ↔ Atmosphere B: Canister ↔ Intake Manifold C: Canister ↔ Fuel Pump |
