Kia Forte: Air bag - advanced supplemental restraint system / Air bag warning light
The purpose of the air bag warning light in your instrument panel is to alert you of a potential problem with your air bag system, which could include your side and/or curtain air bags used for rollover protection.
Air bags are activated (able to inflate if necessary) only when the ignition switch or engine start/stop button is turned to the ON position or engine is running.
The SRS consists of the following components: 1. Driver's front air bag module 2. Passenger's front air bag module 3. Side air bag modules 4.

Detach the speed restriction label (1) from the sealant bottle (2), and place it in a highly visible place inside the vehicle such as on the steering wheel to remind the driver not to drive too fast. 2. 1. Open the trunk lid. 2. Remove the lamp assembly by using a flat-blade screwdriver. 3. Remove the cover from the lamp assembly. 4. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out. 5. Install a new bulb in the socket. 6. Install the cover to the lamp assembly.
