The purpose of the air bag warning light in your instrument panel is to alert you of a potential problem with your air bag system, which could include your side and/or curtain air bags used for rollover protection.
Air bags are activated (able to inflate if necessary) only when the ignition switch or engine start/stop button is turned to the ON position or engine is running.
The SRS consists of the following components: 1. Driver's front air bag module 2. Passenger's front air bag module 3. Side air bag modules 4.

Bulb replacement precaution Please keep extra bulbs on hand with appropriate wattage ratings in case of emergencies. Refer to the "Bulb Wattage" section in Chapter 8. Room lamp (LED type) bulb replacement If the room lamp (LED) (1) does not operate, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer. The LED lamp cannot be replaced as a single component because it is an integrated unit. The LED lamp has to be replaced with the unit.
