
The purpose of the air bag warning light in your instrument panel is to alert you of a potential problem with your air bag system, which could include your side and/or curtain air bags used for rollover protection.
Air bags are activated (able to inflate if necessary) only when the ignition switch or engine start/stop button is turned to the ON position or engine is running.
The SRS consists of the following components: 1. Driver's front air bag module 2. Passenger's front air bag module 3. Side air bag modules 4.
1. Park on a level surface and apply the parking brake firmly. 2. Place the transmission shift lever in P (Park) with Dual clutch transmission/ Intelligent variable transmission and R (Reverse) with manual transmission. 3. Activate the hazard warning flashers.
To equalize tread wear, it is recommended that the tires be rotated every 12,000 km (7,500 miles) or sooner if irregular wear develops. During rotation, check the tires for correct balance. When rotating tires, check for uneven wear and damage.
