Repair procedures
| Removal |
Interior Antenna 1
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels. |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the crash pad center lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Center Lower Panel") |
| 3. |
Remove the Interior antenna 1 (B) by loosening the screws after disconnecting the connector (A).

Interior Antenna 2
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly") |
| 3. |
Remove the Interior antenna 2 (B) by loosening the screws after disconnecting the connector (A).

Trunk Antenna
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the rear transverse trim. (Refer to Body - "Rear Transverse Trim") |
| 3. |
Remove the trunk antenna (B) by loosening the nuts after disconnecting the connector (A).
|
Tailgate Antenna
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the rear transverse trim. (Refer to Body - "Rear Transverse Trim") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the tailgate antenna connector (A).
|
| 4. |
Remove the tailgate antenna (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.
|
Rear Bumper Antenna
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the rear bumper assembly. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Assembly") |
| 3. |
Remove the rear bumper antenna (B) by loosening the screws after disconnecting the connector (A).

Door Outside Handle
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the front door outside handle. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Outside Handle") |
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| Inspection |
Antenna Actuation Diagnosis
| 1. |
Connect the cable of KDS to the data link connector in driver side crash pad lower panel. |
| 2. |
After IG ON, select the "Actation Test". |
| 3. |
Set the smart key near the related antenna and operate it with a KDS. |
| 4. |
If the LED of smart key is blinking, the smart key is normal. |
| 5. |
If the LED of smart key is not blinking, check the voltage of smart key battery. |
| 6. |
Antenna actuation

Antenna Status Check
| 1. |
Connect the cable of KDS to the data link connector in driver side crash pad lower panel. |
| 2. |
Select the "Antenna Status Check".
|
| 3. |
After IG ON, select the "Antenna Status Check".
|
| 4. |
Set the smart key near the related antenna and operate it with a KDS.
|
| 5. |
If the smart key runs normal , the related antenna, smart key(transmission, reception) and exterior receiver are normal. |
